Heritage buses destroyed in devastating fire

EIGHT heritage buses have been destroyed in a devastating fire in a group of industrial units near Andover.

UKEAS are proud to share the success of a recent project. The Removal of asbestos cement debris from 6 burnt out units on a Farm in Andover.

The units house heritage vehicles owned by the registered charity "Friends of King Alfred Buses" and the bus is a 1950 Leyland Olympic HR40 from the fleet of King Alfred Motor Services of Winchester.

UKEAS conducted the safe decontamination of the Farm as all farm units destroyed in the fire contained asbestos cement.

We were able to clean as far as reasonably practicable to save one heritage bus & other vehicle parts.
