Asbestos Removal works at Scarborough swimming pool

In partnership with the owner, we undertook and complete the Asbestos removal works at Scarborough Indoor swimming pool prior to the demolition of the building.

The indoor swimming pool was originally built in 1973. The building has stood vacant since 2017 and in 2021 the demolition works began.

The project consisted of the removals of Asbestos Containing materials within the former swimming pool, Changing rooms, Seating area, Reception and external entrance area to the building. There was thermal insulation, AIB cladding to beams throughout, AIB cladding to the skylights above the pool, AIB wall panels within the swimming pool.
