Asbestos removal works at Christleton hall

In partnership with BlueOak Estates, our company were subcontracted to undertake the Asbestos Removal works within this Grade II listed building - Christleton Hall University Campus.

The campus was built circa 1750 for Townsend Ince, Later used as a boarding school In 1934. The building was bought from the family in 1974 and sold in 2021 to be used for a law college. The proposed redevelopment of this now vacant site would see Christleton Hall converted into 18 apartments and the construction of 24 detached houses. The plan also include a two-storey office building, which would become the headquarters of the Steven Morgan Foundation.

We were responsible for both notifiable and non-notifiable works within the Christleton Building on campus. We were appointed to complete the removal of AIB panels to the basement ceilings, AIB boxing to multiple door frames, AIB debris within multiple floor voids, removal of cement panels and the removal of floor tiles on 3 levels of the building.
