Asbestos Surveys
All surveying strictly follows the Surveyors Guide HSG 264 which came into effect February 2010 and replaced the HSE guidance document MDHS100.
There are two types of survey the Management Survey, which is used to assist Duty Holders meet Regulation 4 of the Control of Asbestos Regulations (CAR) 2006 and the Pre Demolition / Refurbishment Survey which is required to comply with the CDM Regulations.
All asbestos surveying and sampling processes are carried by surveyors who would as a minimum be holders of the P402 certification and all samples are analysed by an independent UKAS accredited laboratory.
Turnkey Asbestos Services
Our company holds a 3 year Asbestos Removal Licence issued by the Health and Safety Executive, this combined with a waste carriers licence issued by the Environment Agency means that UK-EAS has the certification to deal with any project that presents itself.
At the outset of any project, we assess the full extent of asbestos, general waste and recyclable material to provide a tailored solution ensuring minimal site work disruption and more importantly reduce the amount of materials that require disposal into a landfill. Secure waste transportation and disposal at a licensed disposal site or waste transfer station guaranteed.
Private and Public Sector Asbestos Removal
We carry out all asbestos removal under the strictest accordance with Health & Safety Executive Regulations ensuring only the highest of safety procedures are used and exceeded on our sites. Collection and Disposal of Aspestos
Our team of highly qualified operatives will eliminate the risks associated with handling asbestos waste on our sites by carrying out the work in full accordance with Control of Asbestos at Regulations 2006 (CAR). All asbestos waste will be transported in secure containment to an Environmental Agency approved waste disposal site located close to the project location ensuring a swift removal and lower carbon emissions are created through transportation. To encourage best practice and develop new innovative techniques in the removal process our team works closely with clients aiming to identify, devise and promote activities which can improve industry health and safety performance.
Asbestos Encapsulation
Due to the nature of asbestos and its wide use in commercial buildings it is sometimes not the best option for complete removal but instead encapsulation. Our methods of encapsulation can prove safer and more cost effective causing less disruption to our client’s business operations. Our approach for any project will be stringently reviewed by a senior manager and recommended in a risk assessment prior our highly skilled operatives attending the contaminated site.
